In this online book study course, participants will read Embedded Formative Assessment by Dylan Wiliam, select and respond to questions related to the reading, and discuss how they may use the suggested strategies from the book in their classroom.
There is a tab at the top of the blog for each week of class. Your facilitator will send you reminder emails throughout the course with links to the appropriate page.
The reading assignment and questions are given each Tuesday. In addition to reading the assigned chapter, participants will:
- respond to one of the three questions by Sunday evening (11:59 p.m.).
- comment on a colleague's post by Monday evening (11:59 p.m.)
- and for chapters 3-7 participants will select a practical technique discussed at the end of each chapter and describe how you could use or adapt the technique in your classroom.
